When should I arrive for the ceremony?
Plan to arrive as early as 5:00pm.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm.
How should I get transportation to the venues?
BAR BAR — Plan to hunt for street parking if you'd like to drive; you may have to walk a couple blocks! We recommend you use a rideshare app if parking concerns you.
THE AERIE — The Aerie has a large parking lot, and we have been assured that cars may be left overnight if needed.
Please plan to take a Lyft or Uber to any event you plan on drinking at. You can get rideshare apps easily to take you all over Portland. Drive safe!
Can I bring my kids?
We love you and your kids, but have opted for an adults only wedding with the exception of our family members. Thank you for understanding. We encourage you to plan a night out and enjoy an evening away from parental duties!
Can I bring an additional guests or a plus one?
We have limited space and have only reserved enough food and drinks for invited guests. For this reason, only the names listed on invitations will be able to RSVP and attend.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Our welcome party at Bar Bar is casual! Wear whatever you would like!
Our wedding ceremony and reception at The Aerie is semi-formal/cocktail. We would love for you to dress up and wear something that reflects the garden atmosphere of The Aerie. Florals, prints, color are all acceptable. Any style of dress, skirt, suit, sets, jumpers, or dress pants are welcome. Please refrain from wearing blue jeans and shorts.
ARE THE EVENTS OUTDOORS?
The welcome party at Bar Bar will be outdoors on a covered patio.
The ceremony and reception at The Aerie is planned to be outside in their garden space. Should it rain, there is a covered tent we will move to! Please dress for the weather. Consider bringing a sweater or jacket for after the sun goes down!
